My Birthday was great!

I am officially 39.  One year before the big 4-0.  My family was so sweet to me.  I got french toast breakfast and a new leather jacket, a homemade cheesecake from my sweet sister, Heather, and lots of cards and wishes on Facebook from everyone, even people from high school who I haven't talked to in 20 years.  It was a good birthday.  We went out to dinner on Saturday night as a family, Dave took me to see the latest "chick flick"  Couples Retreat --good if you want to laugh a lot!  And even though it was on a Sunday, it was relaxing and wonderful.  Thank you everyone.  I am truly blessed to have such good friends who called to wish me a happy Birthday and even my neice who sang "you look like a monkey and smell like one too" Olivia, I love you.   Next year I think I'll be 39 again.
How about that?  No objections, PLEASE.

Baby Gabe is Here!

Gabriel Adam Glenn (Gabe) was born yesterday at 3:30 weighing in at a tiny 5 pounds 15 ounces and he is beautiful. I've never seen such so many little girls crying over a baby before. He is definitely loved already and we are so glad that both Mom and baby are doing great. Heather looked tired but very happy. Here's some pictures we took last night at the hospital with the new brothers, sisters and cousins. By the way, the kids all the way to the hospital reminded my kids that "sister trumps cousin"!
Madison holds Gabe for the first time, she cried and cried ...so sweet!

Megan and Miles with their new little buddy.
Max peering into little Gabe's face. He has always loved babies and was very sweet with him.

Jordan and Brooklyn with Gabe.

The proud big sister -- this is my favorite! Look at her face!

Silly Six year old

Kyle's 6th birthday was fun filled with bbq with Heather, Justin and the cousins, and of course a pinata.

Here are a few of the highlights....

Just indulge me. This has been a fun year to watch Connor play football on the Jr. High team.
He is growing up too fast and is such a fun kid to watch. This was their first loss of the season. They are 5 and 1.

Here are a few shots from Saturday morning, the 26th of September, sorry I've been so busy to get them on sooner. He is a co-captain and the picture to the left is the coin toss.

Cold Weather Training

Connor's football practice yesterday looked like this--

caption from paper reads: The seventh grade East Junior High School football team gets some cold weather training by running on a snowy football field before diving into the snow when their coach blows his whistle.
