Back to REALITY

We made it home. I'm back. Back to good old Pleasant Grove, back to the 100+ temperatures, back to the desert dryness, back to laundry, cooking, taxi driving, grocery shopping, paying bills -- but still HOME!

It couldn't last forever, but it sure was nice to pretend for a while! Hammock
I decided that Max definitely wouldn't have made a good "only" child. He may have enjoyed the spoiling, the outings, having Mom all to himself, the shopping trips (the odds of Mom buying him something suddenly improved when he was by himself!), but he missed his brothers and sisters so much that 10 days was about all he could stand. I missed them too!

My parents really spoiled us. We had a super trip, and lots of laughs. I am so glad the other kids had a good time with their cousins in Logan. Dave was pretty lonely but he survived. He said he just couldn't get used to the peace and quiet--hmm, I think I could be tempted into trying it out at least.
Home is where your heart is and somewhere in this mess of unpacking and laundry I should be able to find mine by sometime next Thursday! I slept so good being back in my own bed and I'm excited to see the rest of the kiddos in a few hours.

Thanks Ma and Pa for a terrific week off!
Now, who would like to help fold some laundry??

Anyone? Anyone? No takers? Gifts or favors could be promised as bribery..............

Mel,

It does my heart good to see that you too have posted your laundry for all to see.

We also have the same laundry basket!

If I were there, I would tempt you into watching a chick flick with me and I would help you fold your laundry.

I know we would spend the entire time giggling!

Mel -- We loved having you! It's been pretty quiet without Max bouncing around the condo! I was thinking this afternoon, I miss our Skipbo games! I've been doing a lot of laundry and folding since you left too! Back to reality and work for me too -- but I have a Carmel weekend to look forward to on Friday. You have time with your darling family! See you in 3 weeks when I fly to Utah -- MOM
